  • Recently purchased this model to replace an older Onkyo product and as usual I am very pleased with this model. Not sure what the other review is about concerning trashing this model and claiming Denon is better since I know people who own Denon and wish they stuck with Onkyo. Sound quality is very good and I did buy Klipsch Dolby Atmos speakers because the Onkyo version were not very powerful so I went with the higher wattage in Klipsch. Sound is smooth and very loud and the connections were easy to understand. Needed a receiver that could handle both HDR and Dolby Vision and of course Atmos. This is my 10th Onkyo receiver over the many years and they never disappoint. Excellent build quality and reliability. I stick with what works so I stick with Onkyo.
